Tania Principe is a feminist and disability rights activist. She works as a freelance consultant on gender equality, inclusion and diversity, advising an array of national and global organizations.

In August 2023 she was appointed interim executive director of Nobel Women’s Initiative, an international organization that works in solidarity with women’s movements, organizations, and activists around the world for peace, justice, and equality.

Tania has more than two decades of experience leading efforts to end inequality with such organizations as Gender at Work, the Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID) and the Women into Trades and Technologies National Network (WITT NN).

She has experience in front-line social change at one of Toronto’s largest network of food banks. She is a volunteer advocate for parents of children labelled with disabilities.
