Tagreed Abdin (@taggy_) is a Sudanese architect, activist and writer. She has frequently spoken to international media with vivid detail about how civilians have been caught in the middle of a war between military and paramilitary forces that began in April, 2023.
Her work has been featured on several media platforms including Buzzfeed, AI Monitor and Women in Islam, and she has provided expert analysis on human rights and social movements in Sudan to Al Jazeera, BBC and NPR, among other media platforms.
She fled her home in Khartoum, Sudan with her family to seek safety in Egypt in May, 2023.
