Marissa Conway (@marissakconway) is the Co-Founder of the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy and in 2019 was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 List for her work. She is currently a doctoral candidate for a PhD in Politics at the University of Bristol and is a Research Associate at SOAS, University of London. Marissa is also a member of the Gender Champions in Nuclear Policy initiative. Prior to launching the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy, she worked with Freedom House, a safe house for survivors of human trafficking. Marissa writes and speaks about Feminist Foreign Policy, nuclear policy, lethal autonomous weapons, national security, feminist theory, masculinity, with regional expertise in North America and Europe, particularly the US and the UK. She has been published by the University of Oxford, and the Turkish Policy Quarterly, and has been quoted in the New York Times and Univision among others.
