Maria Abrahamyan (@mariabrahamyan) is a consultant at the International Center for Transitional Justice (@the ICTJ). She joined ICTJ in 2020 as the transitional justice program coordinator for Armenia, based in Yerevan. She has a background in economics and law, as well as extensive grassroots human rights and project management experience in Armenia.
She is a Participatory Gender Audit Facilitator certified by the International Labor Organization, and a member of the European Women’s Lawyers’ Association. Maria is a 2019 Human Rights Advocates fellow at the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University in New York.
